Emergency shutdown at China’s Yulin coal-based PP, PE plant

According to market sources, Zhongmei Shaanxi Yulin Energy & Chemical Co Ltd has unexpectedly shut its coal-based PP, PE plant by 21 January 2019 due to issues at MTO plant.
Based in Shaanxi, China, the coal-based PP and HDPE/LLDPE plant has a production capacity of 300,000 ton/year each. Both plants are expected to remain off-stream for 10 days.
