Saudi’s NATPET to restart PP plant by H2 of the year

According to market sources, National Petrochemical Industrial Company (NATPET) is planning to resume its PP plant only by end of September 2019 following an unexpected shutdown last year.

Based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, the PP plant has a production capacity of 400,000 tons/year. It has been shut since 2 October 2018 following a fire at the complex that lead to 1 death and 11 injuries.
