Sasol delayed startup at new cracker PE plants in the USA

Sasol Lake Charles Chemical Project (LCCP) has reportedly postponed the start-up at its petrochemical complex in Louisiana, Houston as the construction faces a number of hurdles.
Sources reported that the engineering and procurement at the site is completed but the construction at only at 84% at the end of December 2018. The company blamed unfavorable weather condition, high absenteeism among employees and defective parts for the delay.
