Japan’s Keiyo to shut crackers for maintenance

It is reported that Keiyo Ethylene is planning to take its sole naphtha cracker in Chiba, Japan off-stream for equipment maintenance by mid of February 2019. The cracker is expected to remain shut for ten to fifteen days.

The unit is designed to produce 768,000 tons per annum of ethylene and 400,000 tons of propylene.
