Ongoing pre-holidays replenishment observed in China 

Chinese players reported that demand in local market remains healthy today, which gives seller a strong support to be firm on their offers amid stumbling global crude oil prices.  

A trader in Xiamen said, “Today we are still selling quite well but buyers are reducing the purchased quantity. Strong futures market has supported the sentiment this week but we expect a slow down in buying activities in the coming week.”

Another player in Shanghai added, “We see some small discounts in the import market, but local offers are very firm recently as buyers continue pre-holidays purchase activities. We think this trend will sustain throughout this week before fading towards the end of the month.”
