Another Saudi maker announced new PP, PE prices to Vietnam

Market sources reported another major Saudi Arabia producer has announced fresh offers for PP and PE to Vietnam after the Labour Day at stable to firmer levels compared to last month.

The supplier lifted PP prices by $20/t to reach $1080/t for homo-PP raffia and injection grades, and at $1150/t for PP block copolymer grade. Meanwhile, LLDPE film offers are up $10/t at $1240/t and HDPE film prices are unchanged from the last offering at $1220/t, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

Most Vietnamese players are still on holidays and shall only come back tomorrow. Therefore, more movement is expected after buyers return to their desks.
