Local producer lifted PVC offers in India, affirming higher import prices

It is reported that a major local producer in India has announced new PVC offers to domestic buyers with INR1,000/ton ($14/ton) hike from the previous price list on the back of improving demand condition.

Indian buyers are waiting for overseas suppliers to open June shipment offers with firmer outlook. There are still some scepticism following the escalated trade war between China and the USA and the plunge in energy complex; however, the latest price hikes in the domestic ground assure buyers that overseas suppliers would match the increases.

“Demand might remain healthy until mid of June when the monsoon season picks up,” a local trader added.
