Unexpected shutdown on Daqing's LLDPE unit
Market sources reported that Daqing Petrochemical Company has unexpectedly shut its LLDPE unit on 3 May 2016 due to insufficient ethylene supply issues.
Based in Daqing, China, the LLDPE unit has a production capacity of 60,000 ton/year. The plant is expected to remain off-stream for this whole month.
