Middle East producer announces Feb PE prices to Vietnam

A major Middle East producer has announced February PE prices to Vietnam today with $20-30/t lower compared to initial offers last month. The latest offers from the producer stands at $1070/t for HDPE film and $1070-1080/t for LLDPE film, all on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A buyer received the new offer commented, “We are planning to bid for $20-30/t lower in order to conclude deals. We do not think the supplier will reduce their price too much as demand in China market is still healthy this week.”

Import PE prices to Vietnam currently stand at $1070-1115/t for HDPE film, $1070-1115/t  for LLDPE film and $1120-1130/t for LDPE film, CIF, LC AS term.
