Shenhua Baotou restarted coal-based PP and PE units

Market sources reported that Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co has restarted its coal based PP and PE units yesterday (4 May 2016) after a scheduled maintenance shutdown and it is expected to have on-spec cargoes by 7-8 May 2016.

Based in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China, the company has coal-based PP and PE units each with 300,000 ton/year of production capacity. The units have been shut since 1 April 2016 for turnaround.
