Emergency shutdown at India’s OPAL PP plant

According to market sources, ONGC Petro Additions (Opal) has unexpectedly shut its PP plant this week owing to technical issue.

Based in Dahej, India, the PP plant has a production capacity of 340,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 5 days. As reported by CommoPlast earlier, the plant has been shut by beginning of May for brief maintenance as well.
