Thailand’s PTT to shut LLDPE plant for maintenance

PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is planning to take one of its LLDPE lines in Map Ta Phut complex in Thailand for maintenance. The line number 2 is scheduled to remain offline for about 20 days, from 7 to 26 June 2019. 

Meanwhile, a source close to the producer informed that LLDPE line number 1 would be switched to produce HDPE in the same time period.

PTT owns two LLDPE lines with a combined capacity of 400,000 tons per annum.
