FED kept interest rate steady but signal possible cuts moving forward

The USA Federal Reserve on Wednesday, 18 June 2018 announced that it maintained the key interest rate unchanged between 2.25% and 2.5%. However, the central bank also said that it might consider cutting the interest rate if the economic outlook remains clouded by the uncertain trade policies.

According to media reports, several top officials of the FED have expressed the interest rate projection at 0.25-0.5% reductions by the end of the year, while others are expecting the FED to keep the interest rate steady.
