Japan's Mitsubishi shut cracker for maintenance
Market sources reported that Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation has shut its naphtha cracker on Monday, 9 May 2016 for annual maintenance work. The cracker is scheduled to restart on 30 June 2016.
Based in Kashima, Japan, the cracker produces 540,000 tons/year of ethylene and 260,000 tons/year of propylene.
