Vietnam’s Nghi Son to shut PP plant for major maintenance

It is reported that Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical is planning a major maintenance shutdown at its sole PP plant in Vietnam starting 20 October 2019. The unit is scheduled to remain offline for 50 days and would restart on 10 December 2019.

In late June, the unit was also shut due to an unspecified technical issue.

At the moment, Nghi Son is the largest PP producer in Vietnam with a nameplate capacity of 370,000 tons per annum.
