Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry Group Co Ltd was forced to undertake an emergency shutdown at its PDH unit during the weekend due to some unexpected mechanical issues.
Based in Tianjin, China, the PDH plant is able to produce 600,000 tons/year of propylene. Market initial estimate the unit might need 2-3 days to resume production.
