Yantai's Wanhua shut PDH unit for component replacement

Market sources reported that Wanhua Chemical Group Co Ltd has shut its PDH unit over the weekend due to some persistent technical glitches, which prevents the company to operate at full capacity.
 

Based in Yantai, China, the PDH plant has a propylene production capacity of 600,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for a week. A source closed to the company informed that there will be replacement of components during the shutdown which would allow the plant to optimise production rate upon restart.
