Major Thai maker cut PP, HDPE prices to Indonesia

Market sources reported that a major Thailand producer has down adjusted their PP and HDPE prices to Indonesia on the first trading day of the week. Players attributed the reductions to persistent weak demand and buyer perceived of weaker market ahead of Ramadan season.

A market source commented, “Local producer has also cut domestic prices significantly today. We prefer to buy prompt cargoes given the uncertainties in the medium term outlook. Therefore, import cargoes are not of our priority at the moment.”
