Taiwan’s Formosa to restart cracker following maintenance shutdown

It is reported that Formosa Petrochemicals Corp is planning to restart the number 2 naphtha cracker in Mailiao on 5 October 2019 as initially scheduled following a 45 days maintenance shutdown.
The cracker has an annual capacity of 1.03 million tons/year of ethylene, 515,000 tons/year of propylene and 162,000 tons of butadiene.
