Malaysian maker cuts January PE offers to Indonesia, keeps PP unchanged
A Malaysian producer has announced January shipment offers to Indonesia market on the first trading day of the week. The latest price list witnesses further reductions in PE, especially HDPE cargoes, while PP remains unchanged from the previous month.

Sentiment in Indonesia market is rather quiet as the holiday draws near. Players are not very eager to make replenishment claiming the lack of confidence in the near-term outlook.
“For PE cargoes, we might continue to buy from the local market to reduce the price risk. In the meantime, it might be difficult for the maker to obtain deals on PP at the price list as other sellers are offering more competitive levels,” a buyer commented on the latest offers.
