UPDATE: South Korea's Lotte operates naphtha cracker at reduced rate

Lotte Chemical Corporation reportedly restarted its naphtha-based cracker on 6 May 2016 after 25 days maintenance shutdown; however, the company has been operating the cracker at 75% capacity since it come back online. Industry sources added that Lotte might need to maintain low operating rate for at least two weeks.
Based in Yeosu, Korea, the cracker has a production capacity of 1 million ton/year of ethylene and 480,000 ton/year of propylene.
