Sinopec Maoming shut No. 3 PP unit for maintenance.

Market sources reported that Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Company Limited has shut its No. 3 PP unit on 21 May 2016 as per scheduled for a minor maitenance work.

Based in Guangdong, China, the No. 3 PP unit has production capacity of 200,000 tons/year. It is expected to remain off-line for 3-5 days. Meanwhile, it’s 170,000 ton/year No. 1 PP unit and 300,000 ton/year No. 2 PP unit is still operating at normal rate.
