Indian government announced major spending for infrastructure projects

It is reported that the Indian government is planning to spend approximately USD 1.4 trillion in the next five years to build major infrastructure projects across the country. Analysts believed this is a ‘big opportunity’ for construction companies and cement producers in the country.

According to data from the government, at least 43% of the planned projects are already under various stages of implementation.

Indian players in the PVC sector are hoping that such optimistic news would stimulate purchasing interest in the near term. However, at the moment, there has not been any major improvement in the demand condition.
