Major Thai maker cut HDPE prices to Vietnam

A major Thailand producer has announced fresh HDPE offers to Vietnam at the beginning of the week with $20/ton reduction from the week earlier. The producer’s latest price list stands at $1150/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term for HDPE film, injection, blow molding and yarn grades.

Source from the producer informed, “Demand in Vietnam is very disappointed as buyers mostly retreated to the sideline, avoid participating in purchases. We are now waiting for buyer’s respond before deciding on further move.”
