Major Taiwanese reduced PVC offers for June shipment

A major Taiwanese producer has implemented $30/ton reduction on PVC cargoes for June delivery to regional market today. The latest price list is reported at $800/ton to Southeast Asia and China, $860/ton to India market, all based on CIF, LC AS term. Export offers stand at $770/ton FOB Taiwan with same payment term.

An agent offered on behalf of the producer commented, “Our principal allocation has reduced about 15% compared to last month, however demand in key regional market is also diminishing. We are monitoring the market respond towards the new offer before making further decision.”
