Another major Saudi maker cut PP and PE prices to Vietnam

Vietnamese players reported receiving fresh offers from another Saudi Arabia producer today with $80-100/ton reduction compared to last month on both PP and PE cargoes.

The producer is currently offering LLDPE film at $1160/ton, HDPE film at $1120/ton, homo-PP at $990/ton and PP block copolymer at $1050/ton, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A distributor offered on behalf of the producer informed, “Most of our regular customers accepted to buy LLDPE film at $1120/ton, yet some are still placing bid at below $1100 threshold. This month we have very limited supply for LLDPE and PP block copolymer, and at the moment we are collecting bids from buyers before decide on the final price levels.”
