After Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) unexpectedly shutdown its plant last week due to power failure, the company reportedly restart its HDPE unit this week. However, the LLDPE line might need to remain offline until mid of June, sources said on 25 May 2016.

Based in Saudi Arabia, the plant consist of a cracker that producer 1.3 million tons/year of ethylene, 900,000 tons/year of propylene, 300,000 tons/year of HDPE, 600,000 tons/year of LLDPE and 700,000 tons/year of PP.
