Shenhua XinJiang delay start-up of coal-based PP and PE units

Shenhua XinJiang Coal-Based New Materials Project was forced to postpone the start up of its new PP and PE units to July 2016 from initial schedule in June 2016 due to unexpected technical issues.

Located at Urumqi, China, the company has a 300,000 tons/year coal-based PE unit (2426H grade) and 300,000 tons/year coal-based PP unit (S1003 grade). The plant is designed to produce 1.8 million tons/year methanol.
