Unexpected shutdown at Mitsubishi's cracker

According to market sources, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation has encountered a technical glitch today, which forced the company to shutdown its No.2 naphtha cracker unexpectedly.
Based in Kashima, Japan, the cracker is having production capacity of 539,000 ton/year of ethylene. The company has also scheduled one-month maintenance shutdown at this cracker on 7th May 2016 as reported earlier.
Meanwhile, its another naphtha cracker located in Mizushima, Japan with capacity of 570,000 ton/year of ethylene is still operating as usual.
