A major Thailand producer continues to lift import PE offers to China this week on the back of continued strengthening upstream ethylene costs and constant lacking inventories pressure

Players are not responding to the new price list positively citing the calmer market sentiment. Apparently, most traders are in the selling mood as previously purchased cargoes are arriving. “The new prices are above acceptance levels. We might consider making replenishment if the supplier agrees to reduce the offers to below $800/ton mark,” a buyer said.
Meanwhile, the producer is not having any allocation for the LDPE film this time.
