Oil prices slipped on Wednesday

International benchmarks for oil prices slipped on Wednesday (1 June) ahead of OPEC meeting as analysts do not expect the 13-nation cartel will announce any measure to reduce output when Iran still intent on pushing output higher.

WTI closed at $49.01/barrel (-$0.09) July delivery

Brent closed at $49.72/barrel (-$0.17) August delivery
