Sinopec Zhenhai to slightly delay restart of its PP unit from maintenance

According to market sources, Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company has delayed the restart of its old 1PP unit from scheduled turnaround to 15 June 2016. The reason of delay could not be ascertained.

Based in Zhenhai, China, the old PP unit has a production capacity of 200,000 ton/year and It has been shut since 26 April 2016 for maintenance and initial restart plan was on 10 June 2016. Meanwhile, its 300,000 ton/year new PP unit is still operating at normal rate.
