UPDATE: China's Yulin Phase II new PP, LDPE plants startup

According to market sources, Shaanxi Yanchang Zhongmei Yulin Phase II has successfully conducted trial production for its 400,000 tons/year PP plant recently and managed to achieve on-spec powder cargoes.

Based in Yulin, China, the company also plan to conduct trial run for its new 300,000 tons/year LDPE/EVA swing plant by mid of November, and this plant will be slated to produce LDPE first, and focus on EVA production upon stabilization, meanwhile a source closed to the company informed that both PP and PE plants are going to officially startup by second half of December 2020.
