Tianjin's SINOPEC SABIC shut HDPE for maintenance

According to market sources, SINOPEC SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical Co Ltd (SSTPC) has shut its HDPE units yesterday (12 May 2016) for maintenance.

Based in Tianjin, China, the HDPE unit has a production capacity of 300,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 10 days. Meanwhile, the company also planning to have schedule turnaround for its 1 million ton/year steam cracker by early August for 45 days.
