China’s Shenhua briefly shutdown LDPE productions on technical glitches

Two companies under Shenhua Group have reportedly shutdown their LDPE productions over the past couple of days due to technical glitches. 

Shenhua Yulin  Energy Co Ltd took the 300,000 tons/year LDPE line offline on 13 December 2020. The unit is scheduled to come back online today, 15 December. 

Meanwhile, Shenhua Xinjiang Energy Co Ltd shut the 300,000 tons LDPE unit on 14 December and would remain offline for 2-3 days.
