Oil prices extended losses on Thursday

International benchmarks for oil prices fell for six straight sessions Thursday (16 June) as market concern over British vote to exit the European Union will disrupt financial markets and the economy. Market also blamed stronger USD which typical weight down commodity prices. Traders also show a certain degree of anxiety over recent production losses from Canada and Nigeria easing with surplus inventories still overhanging the market.
WTI closed at $46.21/barrel (-$1.80) July delivery
Brent closed at $47.19/barrel (-$1.78) August delivery
