Maintenance shutdown at Japan's Taiyo SM plant
Market sources reported that Taiyo Petrochemical Co Ltd is planning to shut its styrene monomer (SM) unit by end of August for scheduled turnaround.
Based in Ube City, Japan, the unit is able to produce 370,000 ton/year of SM.
