Japan's Kashima to resume VCM production
Market players reported that Kashima Vinyl Chloride Monomer Co Ltd is planning to restart its vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) unit from turnaround by next week.
Based in Kashima, Japan, the unit has a VCM production capacity of 600,000 ton/year. It has been shut since mid of May for maintenance.
