China's Tianjin Dagu to shut SM plant due to unexpected issues
Market sources reported that Tianjin Dagu Chemical Co Ltd is planning to shut its styrene monomer (SM) unit by this coming weekend due to unexpected technical glitches.
Based in Tianjin, China, the company is able to produce 500,000 ton/year of SM. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 4-5 days.
