Sinopec Shanghai shuts PE units for maintenance
Market sources reported that Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co Ltd has shut its No. 1 and No. 2 PE unit on 15 June 2016 for scheduled turnaround.
Based in Shanghai, China, the company has No. 1 and No. 2 PE unit each with a production capacity of 40,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 15 days and shall be resuming by 29 June 2016.
