Indonesia’s Chandra Asri normalises run rates at cracker after minor hiccups

It is reported that Chandra Asri Petrochemical has normalized the operating rates at its sole naphtha cracker in Cilegon, Indonesia following some minor technical difficulties earlier this week that forced the company to reduce the rates.
The newly expanded cracker has an annual output of 900,000 tons/year of ethylene and 490,000 tons/year of propylene.
Meanwhile, Indonesian buyers informed of some delays in delivery for LLDPE cargoes from the maker, stemming speculation that the plant might need more time to stabilise.
