Thailand's HMC to shut PP plants for maintenance

According to market sources, HMC Polymers has shut one of its PP lines last week for maintenance work. HMC owns three PP units in Map Ta Phut, Thailand with total capacity of 750,000 tons a year and it is reported that the company will shut each line in sequent for 10 days each.
A distributor said, "We have not received much allocation from the producer recently as the plant might only full resume production after the Ramadan holidays."
