Southeast Asian producer lower LDPE film prices to Vietnam

According to market sources, a Southeast Asian producer has announced July delivery shipment prices for LDPE film to Vietnam early this week at $20-30/ton lower than last month to react $1190/ton CIF, LC AS term. The producer also offered LDPE lamination at $1300/ton, LDPE injection at $1220/ton, HDPE film at $1160/ton and HDPE yarn at $1170/ton with the same term.

A market source received the new price said, “We were really surprised with the move as other makers are showing intention to lift prices amid tight allocation. We are discussing with out supplier to purchase some cargoes with expectation that domestic demand would pick up by quarter 3.”
