The international benchmarks for crude oil extended the firming trend as the frigid temperature in the US following the winter storm shut approximately 40% of the country’s crude production.
Brent crude settled at $64.34/barrel, up $0.99 or 1.54%.
WTI settled at $61.14/barrel, up $1.09 or 1.78%.
