Indonesian producer lifts local PP and PE offers for the fifth time this week
Indonesian players reported having received fresh PP and PE offers from a major local producer with additional increases from the previous day, marking the fifth price adjustment this week from the supplier.

As reported earlier, the hike is very much driven by the strong demand from international buyers, especially from Turkey and the South American market. However, the continuous price hikes are scaring buyers off, who are struggling to increase end-product prices.
“We have replenished some cargoes earlier this week. At the moment, many medium to large-scale buyers are turning to the import ground for Chinese cargoes. The domestic cargoes are gradually losing competitiveness,” a buyer added.
