Local producer opens new PP, PE offers in Indonesia with additional increases
After four upward price adjustments in the previous week, a major local producer in Indonesia continues to implement increases on both PP and PE prices this week citing the lack of inventory pressure and support from the import ground.

Demand in Indonesia has slowed down compared to the previous week as buyers are unable to accept the current prices. Meanwhile, small-scale buyers are still procuring hand-to-mouth quantity in the domestic market now that import offers are not as competitive.
There have been signs that local availability is easing with both Polytama and Pertamina started to offer spot cargoes again after some minor production issues in the previous week that encouraged the producers to focus only on contract buyers.
