Japan's Mitsubishi to shut MEG unit for maintenance

According to market sources, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation is planning to shut its monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit for a scheduled turnaround by mid of May 2016.
Based in Kashima, Japan, the MEG unit has a production capacity of 280,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 5-6 weeks.
