International benchmarks for crude oil settled lower on Tuesday, 30 March 2021 as Suez Canal reopened to traffic after nearly a week of being blocked by a stranded giant container ship. Meanwhile, the US dollar strengthened making it more expensive for international investors.

Players are monitoring the PMI data coming from China, USA crude inventories, and OPEC+ meeting.

Brent slipped 84 cents, or 1.31%, to $64.14/barrel.

WTI loses $1.01, or 1.67%, to $60.55/barrel.
