Taiwan's Formosa to shut VCM and PVC for maintenance
According to market players, Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC) is planning to shut both of its VCM and PVC for a scheduled turnaround on beginning of August 2016.
Located at Mailiao, Taiwan, the company has a 800,000 ton/year VCM unit and a 500,000 ton/year PVC unit. It is expected to remain off-stream for 3 weeks.
