Emergency shutdown at India's BCPL PE plant

Market sources reported that Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) has unexpectedly shut its HDPE/LLDPE swing plant since 12 April 2021 due to technical glitches.
Based in Lepetkata, Assam, India, the plant has a production capacity of 220,000 tons/year. It is expected to resume by early next week.
